MinuteGrid never asks for a student's name, date of birth, disability category, goals or anything else from an IEP. A student is a set of initials or a nickname you choose, a grade, a homeroom teacher and the minutes you type. There is no account and no server: your caseload is saved in this browser only, and you can export it as a file whenever you like.

How it works

Set up your week. Your days, start and end times, and the blocks you are never free: lunch, meetings, and travel between buildings.
Add your teachers. For each homeroom, the blocks a student cannot be pulled from, such as math, ELA, specials, lunch and recess, and the ones to avoid if possible.
Add your students. Minutes per week or per month, session length, sessions per week, the days that work, group size, and who they may or may never be grouped with.
Build the schedule. The solver places every session it can, spreads them across the week, groups by grade where it can, and lists anything it could not place with the reason.

A week you can adjust

Drag a session, or select it and use the arrow keys. Every move is checked again as you make it, and a conflict turns red with the rule named.
